Cognitive Design Systems (CDS) and The Design to Manufacturing Co. (TheD2MCo) have initiated an exclusive partnership to address the need for supply chain digitalization in the Middle East area.
CDS developed a powerful AI-driven manufacturability analysis tool named Cognitive Additive. This software, capable of scouting a large number of parts and assemblies helps identifying the right use cases for additive manufacturing, which is the first step to engage on the 3D printing adoption journey.
TheD2MCo empowers its customers to grow, digitally transform and innovate through technology adoption and knowledge transfer. The Cognitive Additive solution will contribute to the global “spare part on demand” offering TheD2MCo is providing to its customers across the Middle East region.

Part of the collaboration is also the development of an automated software solution to obtain a 3D model from a 2D drawing. This solution relies on the results of a PhD thesis conducted by CDS and would unlock the creation of digital warehousing which is a critical milestone in the digital design and manufacturing journey.
